Ocean Park Behind-the-scenes Tour
It's a wonderful experience, helping prepare dinner for a panda. Or watching baby dolphins learn to perform their amazing tricks. Or to find out how they keep the water in a shark's tank clean. These and other awesome experiences await visitors to Ocean Park on its brand new, Behind-the-Scenes tours, which literally take you backstage at one of Asia's largest theme parks to get a view of the action like never before. The folks at Ocean Park have put together two outstanding encounters called "Animal Ed-Venture" Tour and "Marine Land Ed-Venture" Tour. On the "Animal Ed-Venture" Tour, you'll drop by the "Dolphin University" and watch baby dolphins at play. Over at The Hong Kong Jockey Club Giant Panda Habitat you'll get up close and personal with An-An and Jia-Jia as they tuck into some bamboo delicacies. You can even help make the snacks. In the Butterfly House you'll witness the moment of creation as a butterfly emerges from its cocoon.

On the "Marine Land Ed-Venture" Tour you'll visit Pacific Pier and learn everything you wanted to know about sea lions and harbour seals. There is also a visit to the Shark Aquarium which houses the top predators in the sea. You'll find out just how the attendants keep the water clean and other interesting shark facts. Sea and Land Whole-Day Tour
The best of Hong Kong's sea and land attractions are explored on this full-day tour. The tour has a set morning agenda with optional afternoon sections. Start the tour with a two-hour morning harbour cruise aboard a Chinese pleasure junk. See Hong Kong's beautiful skyline and the firing of the Noon Day Gun in the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter. Following the cruise, enjoy the sumptuous flavours of a Chinese dim sum lunch at a popular restaurant.

After lunch, tour passengers may either choose a Hong Kong Island or a Kowloon & New Territories Tour. Both tours take in the beautiful afternoon scenery of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Island Tour includes visits to famous landmarks like the Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Aberdeen. The Land Between Tour (Half Day/Full Day)
The New Territories, situated between the Kowloon Hills and the boundary with mainland China, is an enormously diverse rural and suburban area full of contrasts. It is a fusion of traditional customs and modern ideas, of scenic beauty and man-made achievements, make it a remarkable place to visit. This tour includes a stop at Hong Kong's highest mountain peak, Tai Mo Shan, which provides breathtaking panoramic views. Over the mountain lies a lush valley and a market place for farm produce. Visit a large monastery complex housing the three predominant local religions - Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. You'll stop at Luk Keng near the boundary with mainland China. Keep an eye out for the Hakka village and the bird sanctuary. Then a stop at a fish farming site at Sam Mun Tsai.
